How do your bin rentals work?

I rented a 20 yard bin from Guaranteed Services after having them be recommended to me and I'm very happy I did. It was an easy process. I got my bin delivered very quickly, the driver dropping off was very courteous and friendly and made sure my driveway was not impacted by the bins weight or rollers. The standard rental period is 10 nights so we did all we could to fill the thing up which was easier than we thought considering the size of the bin.

After filling the pick up was just as easy. I made it for a 2pm time after I had finished work so I could be there and they were there at 2:05. The driver was again very courteous and friendly and was out in about 20 minutes. I called prior to my bill being processed and was told my billable amount including the weight of my bin. There were no hidden fees, for anyone wondering. At the time of my rental a 20 yard bin was $210 for the bin and the first tonne of material weight and $125 per tonne after.

I was overall very happy with Guaranteed Services and will definitely be using them again.

Since my first review I've rented a bin from Guaranteed again, and again it was exceptional. My bin was a bit smaller the second time, a 14 yard one as I needed to rip up some old fencing around my property. It was a big cheaper than the 20 yard, this time 180 for the bin and first tonne but any additional tonnage was calculated at the same rate of 125 per. The bin was delivered when we asked and I intended to fill it over a weekend and get it picked up on the following monday. When I was done, I called for the monday pickup and it was gone after I came back from work and a nice thank you letter and fridge magnet was waiting for me in my door,nice touch!
For anyone looking to rent a bin, Guaranteed is an amazing service. I'll recommend them in a heartbeat and use their bins any time I need one.

One word of advice as I've done this a couple times now. When you get a bin, try and time delivery, fills and pickups where its not raining or snowing if possible. If your materials absorb water, that will reflect on your bill. The guys will drain any sitting water from bins before they go on the scale so you are not getting intentionally charged for it but my first bin was filled with drywall so it absorbed water from a couple rains during my rental period, while my second bin had metal and nothing that absorbed despite it raining during that period as well. Just a word to the wise.

If you can't avoid the rain or snow. Try and cover your bin with a tarp to keep water or snow out.
